The Society of 1908 Golf Clubs
The Society of 1908 Golf Clubs was formed in 2001 with 8 member clubs, which were all founded in the year 1908. The Society's objective is to promote friendship between clubs and enable members to play at other member clubs on a reciprocal basis. It is agreed that where clubs are more than 50 miles apart, no green fee would be charged although there are a few exceptions where a reduced green fee is charged. Most clubs will accept up to 4 visitors at a time but larger parties can be arranged, providing an appropriate group fee is paid. You should contact the club you wish to visit in advance, to introduce yourself and make sure that there is availability on the day you wish to visit.
